Bosnian band Dubioza kolektiv has launched a petition requesting that the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) allow them to represent under-represented countries in the Eurovision Song Contest. The petition asks the EBU to allow the band to perform for three minutes, representing countries such as Turkey, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria and North Macedonia, which will not have a representative this year due to financial issues or lack of interest. The band themselves will perform under the name Absurdistan. The petition has been launched as a result of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s inability to participate in Eurovision due to unpaid debts to the EBU for the past seven years. Full details on the petition can be found here.
