The Ministry of Interior affairs announced in the afternoon that four Kosovo citizens have been rescued after being trapped in the snow on Galicica. On 03.03.2023 at 19:00, foreign nationals reported being trapped in the snow in Galicica National Park. Police officers, as well as teams from the Resen Territorial Fire Brigade and the Galicica Guard Service, went to the scene to rescue them. At 19:50, the individuals were found, extracted from the snow, and safely guided to the Stenje border crossing, the Ministry of Interior reported. The Ministry added that the four Kosovo citizens were travelling in a Volkswagen Passat car with Kosovo license plates. Image obtain from Mia Archive.
