The Municipality of Ilinden is one of the first institutions in the region to become part of the European project “Green Micro Credentials: Long-term Upgrading and Strengthening of Skills of Low-skilled Adult Learners”. The project, which is part of the Erasmus program, began implementation today, with the first international meeting attended by the Mayor of the Municipality of Ilinden, Aleksandar Georgievski.
The Green Micro Credentials project will provide pathways for the upgrading of low-skilled adult learners to gain equal access to the labor market and support a just transition to a low-carbon economy. The project will develop a flexible and inclusive approach to learning and teaching to support low-skilled adult learners in acquiring work-relevant skills for the green economy.
As emphasized by Mayor Georgievski, with the goal of greater affirmation of the municipality through the promotion of our positive values in international frameworks and European practices, as well as access to the exchange of experiences through the continuation and expansion of cooperation with municipalities and organizations from European countries, we can bring the Municipality of Ilinden closer to the European quality of life standard and thereby improve local economic development.
The project will be implemented by 15 organizations and institutions in 6 different countries in Europe.
