Police officers from the Border Control Department in Mihajlovo have detained a 47-year-old man from the village of Volkovo in Skopje. During a check of his passenger vehicle – a Mercedes with Skopje license plates – six migrants were found: three from Pakistan, two from Syria, and one from Egypt. Earlier that evening, at around 8.30 pm, the vehicle had been spotted on the regional road between Demir Kapija and Negotino, but did not obey a stop sign. The driver and migrants attempted to flee after arriving in Krivolak, but were caught. The migrants were taken to a reception-transit center. The case has been reported to the prosecutor, and after full documentation of the incident, a suitable complaint will be filed.
