STATEMENT OF THE DAY
SOTIR KOSTOV ON THE LEGEND OF CHE GUEVARA
Che Guevara died in just the right time to grow into a myth. A myth that until this day is not relinquished. It slips out of people’s hands, puzzles journalists, researchers and science, and flies once again over the Andes, so that people can search for and encounter him in the distant forests of Bolivia, in the canyons of the celestial Cordilleras that cover the chain of Latin American countries between the Pacific and the Atlantic. It is certain that Ernesto Guevara was assassinated in Bolivia. But it is even more certain that Che remains to live on. Under the eternal hot Cuban sun, the legend of Che continues to live on.
