The Ministry of Interior Affairs announced that during today’s operational control carried out at the Prison Skopje, 25 packages of white powdery substance, six packages of marijuana, and 12 mobile phones were found and seized.
“The Unit for Combating Organized and Serious Crime – Sector for Criminal Investigations – Unit for Illegal Drug Trafficking, in coordination with the Special Police Operations Department, Skopje Police Department, and teams with official dogs from the mobile customs, under the guidance of a public prosecutor, conducted operational control at the Prison Skopje,” stated the press release.
During the control, based on a court order, two cells were searched, and 25 packages of white powdery substance, six packages of marijuana, and 12 mobile phones were found and seized.
After forensic examination and full documentation of the case, the Unit for Combating Organized and Serious Crime will file an appropriate criminal report.
