Around five people dressed in uniforms with masks on their heads entered a café in the Old Bazaar of Skopje and targeted the two victims who were shot in the head. Eyewitnesses, cited by “Makfax,” claim that the gruesome incident occurred tonight in Skopje.
According to unofficial information, when the armed group entered, they shouted for everyone to stay still, indicating that it was a raid. At the moment of the shooting, there were not many people in the bar.
In addition to the fatalities, there are also several injured people. The two victims were in a separate part of the café, in the upper part of the building, in a separate office, where the armed group found them. These unofficial reports cannot be confirmed yet, as the Ministry of Interior Affairs (MIA) say that they are working on the incident, and more details will follow later.
The circumstances under which the incident occurred suggest that it was a pre-planned scenario, with exactly determined victims. One of them is a drug boss associated with a Greek, Jeton Krivajevic, aka Žila. His name has been associated with other incidents in the past.
MIA has released initial details of the double murder, whereby they informed about two victims (J.K.) and (E.I.) and one injured person (A.T.), who has been taken to the hospital for medical assistance.
The area is surrounded by police and access to the café in Čaršija is entirely closed, still 50 meters before the entrance. More details are expected after the investigation is completed.
